Getting kids to brush their teeth has been a struggle as old as dentistry. We have some proven tips and suggestions to help your kids develop good habits.

Dr. Sheila Brijade, better known for her patients as Dr. B., graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Human Nutrition, A Doctor of Dental Surgery and a certificate from their GPR program, she was awarded the Bausch Memorial Scholarship Award for outstanding patient communication, humanistic, and professional behaviors. Dr. Sheila provided care at Nationwide Children's Medical Center and was an assistant professor at the Nisonger Dental Clinic treating children and adult special needs patients prior to pursuing specialty training. She then went north to the University of Toledo. There she completed her advance education in Pediatric Dentistry with a MS in Oral Biology and subsequent obtainment of board Certificacion. She has provided dental care to pediatric patients at various hospitals and community health centers as well as in private practice.

Dr. Sheila is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She is a diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association.
